Rosie NICU - For all their hard work looking after Charlotte while she was alive for the short 4 days
Charlotte was born on the 7th March 2012 by C-section. She was born 18 days early. The morning after she was born, Charlotte was transferred to Addenbrooke's Rosie NICU where she was looked after over the short time that we had her in our lives. On the 11th March 2012 Charlotte took a sudden turn for the worse and while she fought a brave battle against infections, she was unable to carry on. As the nurses were changing her anti-biotics, her heart had failed. The doctors tried for 40 long minutes to keep her going because they thought she had every chance. It became obvious that they were unable to save her, and she passed away at 6.45pm on Sunday 11th March 2012, just 4 days old. 


We want to be able to thank the hospital for all the hard work and dedication they put in, looking after Charlotte.
